Austin King Cake Expresso Martini

Two cocktails 

  • 4 oz Austin 101 or Austin 85 

  • 2 oz Amaretto liqueur, we like Disaronno 

  • 2 oz strong expresso coffee 

  • 1 oz cinnamon, vanilla simple syrup 

  • 2 oz whipping cream 

Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake until well chilled (at least 15 seconds). Strain into coup glass with rim coated with sugar.  

Cinnamon Vanilla Bean Simple Syrup 

  • One whole vanilla bean split and seeds scraped out 

  • 3 or 4 cinnamon sticks 

  • 1 cup sugar 

  • 1 cup water 

Add all ingredients to a small saucepan and bring to a slight boil. Boil for about five minutes then remove from heat and cover. Let it stand for about 5 hours. Strain into container and store in fridge for up to two weeks.
